1. Who controls your data

AI Speed is the data controller for the personal information you give us. We serve UK customers only. If you have any question about your data, email hello@aispeed.website and we'll deal with it personally.

2. What we collect

• Contact details you give us, your name, email, business name, phone number and anything you write in a form or email.
• Billing details when you book, your billing address and payment confirmation. We never see or store your full card number, that's handled entirely by Stripe.
• Project material you send us so we can build your site, text, photos, logos and business information.
• Basic technical data, your site is served via Cloudflare, which logs standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance. We don't run intrusive advertising trackers.

3. Why we use it (our lawful basis)

• To deliver your website and the service you've booked, this is performance of our contract with you.
• To take payment and keep accurate financial records, a legal obligation and our legitimate interest in running the business.
• To reply to your enquiries, our legitimate interest in answering you and, where you've contacted us first, your consent.
• To keep our service secure and prevent fraud, our legitimate interest.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data with the trusted suppliers we need to run the service, and only the minimum required:

• Stripe, our payment processor, to take and record your payment securely.
• Cloudflare, where your website and our infrastructure are hosted.
• Our email provider, so we can correspond with you.

We never sell your data, and we never share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.

5. International transfers

Some of our suppliers (such as Stripe and Cloudflare) are global companies that may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they're bound by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent approved mechanisms, so your data stays protected to UK standards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep project and contact data for as long as we're working together and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Financial records are kept for six years to meet UK tax law. When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
• Ask us to delete your data where there's no legal reason to keep it.
• Object to or restrict how we use it.
• Withdraw any consent you've given, at any time.

8. Cookies

Our website is deliberately lightweight. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies we do set are strictly necessary for the site and payment process to work. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this page and ask for consent where required.

9. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. The current version always applies.
